With work officially underway on the audiobook, I wanted to share a quick clip from a story in which Rebecca dresses up like an Old West outlaw, and I play to my strengths (as a genius-level detective) to solve a great mystery.
I’m also excited to announce that the book has been retitled since my last update!
The new title is THE HUMORIST: ADVENTURES IN ADULTING AND HORROR MOVIES, and I should be able to reveal the cover within the next week.
A narrative-driven collection of personal essays, The Humorist examines the culture shock of adulting as seen through the prism of pop culture addiction. It will release later this summer in paperback, ebook and audiobook, and it will be available for preorder before the end of May.
As a preview, the first chapter — “An Introduction to Horror Cinema: Parental Discretion is Advised” — is available to read, in full.
